white bread sandwich with mince filling recipe

It is rather disappointing to see that nearly all-white bread sandwiches with mince filling designs are ugly now.

You can never go wrong with sandwiches on a sunny day, having nice weather and having a warm feeling, but many sandwiches are very much artificial and out of taste.

And if you were my parent’s, then you will understand that I have been eating my mother’s sandwich on a few pieces of spool because I didn’t know how to make this myself, and which sandwich by design could I make successfully at my age! And I was very tired of sour lemon bread because I just didn’t like anything!

Savoury sandwich with sponge filling

First things first—I have eaten very few cold sandwiches at all, because of the need for my oldest to school, so very late in the evening, even late at night, I want to be comforted by something sweet and colourful, and by very great sandwiches—am sure that once you have more culture and respect, when there is enough money, why not go out for a nice meal, by yourselves, not where people arrive and go home with them.

This recipe for a savoury sandwich was made with sugar snaps and oranges. You can use any other available in your kitchen.

The difference between fig and sugar snaps is that fig is fruit, sugar snaps are pulp. Now, you will get a less tart difference because of that.

However, you won’t get a less appealing taste, as you had with fig, and a lot of you will enjoy the sugar snaps far more when they are spread on a good something to eat.

Ingredients:

1 cup sugar snaps

500 g butter

12 slices griddled white bread (with slices of the exterior)

2 tsp chopped parsley

1 medium loaf sliced sour apple

Method:

Arrange a slice of bread on a baking tray. Melt the butter in a frying pan, add the bread, and spread the bread out to cover the sandwich.

When the bread has melted and all the butter has been spread out on the bread, carefully drop in a cherry tomato, and lightly toast the bread. Set aside.

For the rough topping, use your hands to spread the sugar snaps over the bread. Push the sugar snaps to the corners of the sandwich.

You can also be very bold and use real butter and have your cheese melted in the oven on top of the bread, the top layer having no greasy bread all over it.

The butter will cook on top and get onto the bread. Just level it. The dough should get just a little warm; it will get there quickly.

Let it spread over the entire bread making sure to sandwich the bread along the edges. Top with two spongy slices of pear.

I used a mini pineapple roll. So much to eat, so very tricky!

Enjoy!

Variation: You can turn this recipe into a dipping sandwich by making a sandwich with a round of bread and 4 carrots.

Add a carrot on top of the sandwich and spread the butter over the top, and place it into the oven on a greased tray and let it make foam as the oven heats up, for a minute at a time—the warmer the baking tray, the quicker this process. After a minute you will be able to see the sandwich start to cook.

Allow the sandwich to cook and cool and put a plate on top, or get the pan under the oven. This will give you the added taste of pancake seasoning.

When you are ready to warm up, smear with the cream cheese and put the bread in the microwave for 3 minutes and have it hot and ready to serve.

Make sure to serve in a separate bowl of cheese to keep the cheese hot and serve in the spring chicken sauce, or in the same bowl with a cheese-filled tortilla from the supermarket.

This recipe would make a nice sandwich with a small number of pickles, lemon pickles, and some chopped-up parsley. Just for fun, I cooked a mini cheeseburger one week, too. Try whatever, it’s not cheating because once you take the baguette and melt the butter on top, you are far less likely to end up being something good or bad, so why not go for it?

I hope you enjoyed this recipe and you also love sweets, because I am quite a nice chocoholic and I enjoy myself eating sweets, and there is definitely something beautiful about this food, too. But yep—Savoury sandwich with sponge filling.
