KFC-Style Crispy Chicken Burger Zinger Burger

  • 1 teaspoon salt,
  • 2 teaspoon chili powder,

  • 1/4 tsp citric acid,
  • 1 teaspoon paprika powder,
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard powder and 1 chicken cube.

I am using 1 Kg chicken breast. You can use thighs as well. Thigh meat ones would be juicier but I like breasts more. We have halved the breast pieces and I am adding the spice mix. 

  • We will blend it well and preserve it to marinate. The more you marinate, the more the spice will enter the chicken. Now let's come to the sauce. I have taken 8 tbsp mayonnaise and added 3 tablespoons ketchup, 3 tablespoon chili sauce, and 2 teaspoon mustard. half teaspoon paprika and half teaspoon garlic powder. We will mix it well. I am adding a secret ingredient which is jalapenos.

  • They give the sauce a very good taste. You should try it out. It will take your sauce to an unheard-of level we will chop it well then mash it. Just like this. And our sauce is also ready. The flavor of the sauce enhances with time.

  • Now let's come to the buns. I am applying little butter and toasting them. If you don't want to apply butter, don't I am barely toasting it on low flame. Because of this recipe, we do not need well-toasted buns. The more energizing the buns, the better.

  • Now after the buns, the most important part has come which is the breading. The technique for this is very important. I  3 cups flour  1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon chili powder and mixed it. we actually have taken one chook piece.

  • I have added it to the flour and I am rubbing git well. While rubbing, we have to press it down as well to make the chicken thinner. This should be the movement. 

  • If you want them less, rub it less but who doesn't like more crumbs? Now let's come to the frying. Frying is also very important. If it is, then our crumbs will burn and that doesn't taste nice.

  • After some time, we will dip it in normal water for literally 5 seconds and we will add it back to the flour mixture and we will do the same movement. The more you do it, the more crispy your chicken will be and the better crumbs you will get. I would recommend you do this for at least 1-2 minutes. This does take time but I guarantee the chicken crumbs would turn out very nice. Rub it according to the number of crumbs you want. If you need them more, rub them more.
